5. Google Sign-In
If you choose to sign in with Google, we request limited profile information needed to authenticate you and operate your account, such as your email address, name, Google account ID, and profile image.
We use this information to sign you in, identify your account, and personalize your dashboard experience. We do not use Google account data for advertising or sell Google user data to third parties.
6. Magic Link Email Sign-In
If you sign in by email, we generate a time-limited magic-link token and send it to the email address you provide. That token is used only to authenticate you and allow access to your account.

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, maintain secure sessions, and support core functionality of the dashboard. For example, we may store a secure session token in your browser after you authenticate.
These technologies are used for service operation and security. We do not describe them as optional marketing cookies because, in the current implementation, they are primarily required to provide the authenticated experience.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate OddsAhead, including:
- Google for authentication when you choose Google Sign-In.
- Stripe for billing, subscription checkout, and payment processing.
- Resend or similar email infrastructure providers for account emails and magic-link delivery.

We do not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of the term, and we do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
- Active account information may be retained while your account is open.
- Authentication sessions are retained for limited periods needed for login and security.
- Magic-link tokens are time-limited and intended for short-term authentication only.
- Billing and subscription records may be retained as needed for accounting, compliance, and fraud prevention.
